Needle jet..etc.
Inside my stock carb of one of my '85 Honda ATC 250R's the needle is marked up..pretty much the middle section has almost what looks like white scorch marks. I cleaned the carb two days ago...sucker looks gorgeous..ran it that day and everything worked excellent. I take it out today and start drag racing practice...high gear racing over long stretches and I start getting bogging at the top of the high gears...say 3-5. I'm wondering...is it that stock needle hanging up or causing issues?...it's on the second clip from the top. Plug looks good though. I did notice that the warehouse where I kept the trike is between 80-90% humidity...I'm wondering if this is causing major issues with my 250r's. New K&N filter. I'm getting so frustrated. When I clean the carb I get excellence...then I let it sit for 2-7 days and then I get bogging. Am I missing something here?
