    Better 85/86 foot pegs?

My 250r foot pegs are trashed, all bent and smooth so my boots slip off.

I see stock 250r pegs on ebay, but are there any upgrades? Any other machine's pegs bolt up? -Thanks!

Jason Hall on here had adaptor plates for the 450r pegs.

Look into the NEW yfz 450 pegs. They are HUGE with kick ups and only 20 bucks on ebay.

What I did was take my 250r pegs off, grind down the old peg so all I had was the 3/8 plate. Welded 450r pegs to them.

To each his own, good luck!

stock is tired and worn out. Get with Hall, his plates are 50$ and the pegs are 20$ on ebay all day long shipped. I spent 70$ for new pegs basically, and i feel way better riding on them than i did some of the other peoples bent up smooth 250r pegs. Or if you can weld, go Kintores route! I think 70$ for some legit pegs is a good deal, the 450r guys are basically throwing theirs away. Not sure but if you squint hard enough you can see the 450r pegs on the bike in my sig

I just did this same thing for my Z. Got a set of 2014 YFZ 450 pegs and heal guards for $35 from ebay. Cut the old peg mount off and welded the new peg to my 3/8" mounting plate. Worked awesome and I can run the heal guards. I will snap a picture when I get a chance. But if you don't have access to welding them sounds like Jason Halls adapter plates would be the route to go.

ID:	194039 heres a method I use. Me being the penny pincher I am. Youll need a set of extra pegs though. Cut the ends off the extra pegs and weld them on the one your using.

If your pegs are tilting downward, you can lift the peg upward and weld the contact points to bring the peg back up to the original position and use a file to fine tune the levelness.

    Was thinking about doing this.

The yzf pegs sound like a nasty idea though. Thanks guys!

Yep, I also moved them back and down with a nice piece of custom milled .375 plate.........

The 450 pegs angle up in stock form and work great! But, those YZF pegs are SWEET!!

Those 450r pegs look nasty but they don't pivot, I can see that causing probs in the woods.
