I have 2 1985 250 sx's and near the trunk area on the left side plastic there is information stamped into the plastic on only one of the atc's. Says something like important information. Has cold tire pressure and weight limit of the machine etc..My question is was this an 85 thing or do i have 86- 87 plastic?

Ok, I got the sx off the original owner. He probably got one with 86 plastic or had them replaced back in the day..

Im gonna hijack fer a sec if ya dont mind.......what about mufflers??? I have 2 85s.....One has a normal muffler with a hole the exh exits, and the other has a little tobe the exh comes out of.......Looks like exact same on each, but for that tube. And niether of my 85s have the stamp.

The one with end peice is probably off a big red or something. Mine also have the little removable plate under the very back of the exhaust to empty out carbon buildup...The big red prob has this too.
