I didn't! Lol. I just had a gut feeling and made some educated guesses! Turned out pretty good.

Well, I picked up my raffle prize up at the truck dock yesterday. Only took a quick peek inside to make sure that no damage occurred during shipping. It looked safe and sound. As much as it pains me to do so my wife talked me into waiting to open her up until this Friday when we have a large group of family and friends coming over. So that's what we're doing. It will be more fun with everyone there but I'm dying to open it Our nephews and niece will be there so it will be fun for them as well as me. I'll get some video of the unveiling and post this weekend.Click image for larger version.

Sorry, guys. It was a long and busy 4th of July weekend. Just got home today and finally getting a chance to post the videos and picture of me and my new toy. I had my niece get some video of me riding it and then on Saturday I accidentally took my iPhone into the lake with me and it's now not working The videos and picture that I do have are from my brother's phone. Here is the video of the unveiling:

Here are a couple of videos of my nephew riding it. He absolutely loved it! It was the first time he had used a clutch and thought it was thee coolest thing ever.

I want to say what a truly amazing bike this is. It is beautiful and Louis' attention to detail is nothing short of impressive. I wish that I had the fabrication skills it took to make something this nice. Kudos and much thanks, Louis.

Aside from the shear excitement of winning a raffle prize I also have enjoyed the remainder of this experience. Everyone was so cool and helpful, from the phone call after I won all the way up to receiving my prize. John and Billy called me the night of the raffle to work out the details of sending the title and the bike to me. Jonathan called me the next morning and helped me work out a plan for shipping it to me. He crated it, made the arrangements and brought it to the shipping facility. I received the title and the bike in the week following the raffle. Many thanks to all those involved. It helped to reinvigorate my faith in humanity. I did not know any of these folks and they were almost all the way across the country, yet they were so helpful and expedient. I am impressed and thankful.

I am also very appreciative of all those who donated parts and/or time to this build. It's better than a new bike and just looks amazing. People were stopping as they drove by our place at Lake Havasu to comment on it. Everyone who saw it, and especially those that rode it, just love it.

Many thanks to those who were in the crowd when you called me after my name was drawn and later that night when you ran it for me. Very fun

And thanks to those who have congratulated me on 3WW. Once again all serving to make this a very memorable experience.

Louis - You guessed correctly about the jetting. Just a bit lean. It has a 118 main currently. I'm going to increase to a 125 or slightly larger. I have to buy it because I don't have any that small in my collection. I'll PM you when I have some time this week to tell you in detail my impressions of the bike.

Here is me sitting proudly on my new ride

Awesome, glad it went to such a good home! I think everyone has breathed a sigh of relief that it wound up with someone that can appreciate and understand the work and effort that went into and in return get a whole lot fun out of it!

Thanks for the kind words, very glad it got to you safely and you're happy with it. I knew it was going to be a tad lean. Jets-r-us is a great website for ordering jets!

Well it's not official that it will be given away again so please don't hold me to that, and I was trying to keep it on the down low until I've received it but I have indeed purchased this machine back from the 2nd owner. I will be finishing some things on it that I didn't get to do the first time around. As to it being a fundraiser again, only time will tell. We have a very nice 1985 Honda ATC250es Big Red to focus on this year at Trikefest and you never know, I may grow attached to this bike now that I've spent the money to get it back. haha.

I edited my posts, I am not one to stir it up on the Interwebs.... I thought it was cool that you were getting it back, although I would prefer the winner would have kept it, I know I would not have sold it.

If I had won it the trike would have had a shrine built for it and it would be a line item in my will.
