Stator seems to be working, pick-up ohms at 460... kinda high but no idea what its supposed to be and it seems to pickup the magneto, figuring spark is cdi or coil both findable. Looking for a fuel pump though and it seems to be the needle in the haystack.

For spark, check under the ignition coil. They tend to rust where it grounds out. I believe it's right under the front of the seat/false tank cover. I had mine rust out there caused weak spark. Overlooked it and bought an RM stator CDI (works great!). Original still works.
I've got the 200c, electric start only. I've also got a post with a bunch of electrical and diagrams for these things, right from the book it self.
I just wanna go fast. If your not first, your last!!
Reproducing the Tecate CDI. Contact me if you need one. I'm most accessible on FaceBook. You can find me on the 1984-1987 Kawasaki Tecate KXT250 Group.
Lucked into a full color diagram, at the moment just trying to find where the timing mark on the case is and whats causing my blowback throw carbI'll try that with the coil asap, have it apart atm where I was checking timing and I pulled the stator and inspected it. It seems to have a ton of new parts in it from right before parking. Cam has no signs of any wear, cam sprocket and chain appear to be new, stator is nice and shiny copper, pickup is clean, oil is nice and clear/amber still... Its odd... lol

I am beginning to think lke the other fellow on here working on his... Theres currently no market for these, and this thing is in need of more time than I can spare. Anyone interested in parts? Its complete. Might just find an engine that fits in the frame and not fool with getting the old one going.
