So I just picked this '83 250R up. It is cosmetically beat but runs well. SO.... LET THE REBUILD BEGIN...

I agree with JasonB and a 85-86 250r front fender looks realy nice on the second gen 250r.

Not sure what I am doing yet.... Going to find the plastic and replace a couple seals first..... Probably going to just ride it as is for now and do a tear down later.... I was stoked to pick this baby up for $200....

For 200 bucks that things a steal! It looks rough but it's like an illusion.. with new plastics and a new seat cover that thing will be damn near mint! The tank looks flawless ..that never happens..Nice find!

Thanks guys.... I thought so too. I couldn't pass it up for that price. I wanted another liquid R but I guess I have a fooler now...
