    homemade 200s dashpad

    i was wondering if anyone has made a dashpad because i recently bought a 12 v plug on ebay and want to mount it on my 85 200s

    I doubt it...but I wanted to mention, the 200s outputs unregulated AC, so be very careful of what you do with that plug.

    So you'll have to put the battery on a charger when not riding the machine. As Frankencelery said, your 200s electrical system (as it is now) isn't compatible with a battery.

    its just gonna be a regular boat battery not a little one cause there is no place to store that little battery

    How are you charging the battery? With a battery charger when its parked?

    Instead of cobbling your already beat up machine. Order a cig lighter for $5 off eBay. They mount to your handle bars or on any flat surface. You claim there's no place to mount a battery. Then say you're going to use a full size marine battery. Have you even thought this through?
