    Scored some NOS spacers cheap!

So I have 4x115 hubs on my 225dx with ITP rims and since it's shaft your only option is really to get spacers. So I managed to find some NOS DuraBlue 2.5" aluminum spacers for $30. Can't beat it right?

So my question is when you change out the studs what do you have do to? Just take a to it and it'll pop out? Do I have to drill them out? Never had to do this before. I'll figure it out tomorrow, I just wanted to share my find and get a little info beforehand since I won't have much time after work before I go riding with my friends.

Just give the studs a good whack and they will pop right out. Make sure that you beat the new ones in.

Take a lug nut and run it down flush with the stud, this gives more surface area to hit with a and protect the threads. I then take a with the hub on the edge of my workbench and drive it out.

I don't think those replacement bolts are studs, I think they are just longer bolts, so you may not have to drive them in.

    Oh and MEOWWWWWW!!!

I open my vice just over the width of the stud, lay the hub on top of the vice, hit it with a little heat, nut on the end and finally a whack with a . Blammo!

Mr. Clean "hit the stud on the head", lol, run a lug flush to save the threads. Should take one smack per lug unless you're a nancy.

Judging by your dx riding video it could take 2-3 smacks......

Kitty is a Bengal? Looks like it's about 4:21 there, lol.

Looks like kitty had a little too much catnip, hehe.
Those spacers rock! I've got a set of +2s on my SX, I love the wide look. Post up pics when you're done!

Id post a pic but they don't fit. I guess I was told wrong what my hubs were. I don't know how to measure them to figure it out. No biggie, they were cheap and worth more than I paid probably. I'm sure I'll find a use for them eventually. Or maybe if actual 4x115 hubs fit on my axel I'll switch.
