Why wouldn't you use an AT489 up front? I don't see anything wrong with them for a front tire.

Im not sure why it wouldnt work, and I cant really tell you whether or not the rims are the same. Are forks at the same spot in the triple trees?

Don't use one of those muddin tires on the front of a trike! I still don't get what people are thinking when I see that since those tires weigh a ton and are hidious looking. Get either the stock othus pro V or a front max.

not gonna say anything about tire choice, because it is just that a choice...run whatever tire you like.....as for rubbing the fork....you got problems.....as far as i know(and i am sure someone will tell us if i am wrong) there is no OFFSET on a front rim...either your axle is loose or you are missing a spacer..or the forks are not in the trees correctly!!!

Why not use the 489's....I love them. My brother had one on his R and I think 86250RZ from this site has one too. IMO, they hook up better than most other tires out there.
