I'm a clean freak, but I try to be a smart one and not use anything that will harm paint and other surfaces. I clean everything from top to bottom, going so far as to get Q-tip type instruments to get into the smallest of places...so that's one reason they look that way. I kinda go into a zone with cleaning, I Definitely don't have an ounce of ADD lol.

The other is that I got very lucky on the items I bought. The 85 is mint really, low hour machine built in July of 1984 with original dated coded 1984 tires. The 86 125M was a barn find, the only issues being some cracked fender moldings. The 86 was refurbished from the ground (no motor or trans rebuild...hard for me to say "restored"). We ride only in grassy places around our area, and I'm a drill instructor on rides barking out orders on where to go and whatnot lol. Two basic rules...no full throttle blasts and no one can leave my sight....unless I say it's ok.

The funny thing is the looks we get when the neighbors are out on their 4 wheelers and UTVS...they probably think we are like the Brady Bunch movie in our ways lol. If I had a full set of Hondaline riding gear it would really appear to be a time warp....
