Throttle cable trouble

I bought an angle adjuster from JetsRus and need a little advice on how to install it. I've contacted them and they weren't much help. They did say I need to remove the assembly off the end of the cable ( that connects to the carb).
Has anyone ever removed that or installed this? How did you do it?
Dremel? I don't want to just rip it off in fear of shredding the cable wrap.

I got the adjuster off bit can't seem to make this damn 90degree adjuster fit right?
I'm ready to buy a different cable. Any one have any ideas? It's an 82 250r with an 85 R carb(34mm PE).
I need one with the elbow. The 85 cable worked but was a pain in the ass to jet with it so close to the frame.
I talked to motion pro but they want $35 to custom build one and it will be 7 days before it's even out the door.

if you havent looked already check some of the chinese quad suppliers have different lengths and are usually pretty cheap hope this helps ya out
