ID:	196959I just traded a jetski for this '85 Tri-Z. It's got an aftermarket jug that's labeled KH (K & H ?) Performance. Seller told me it's a stroker/big bore kit, but couldn't give me any specifics on it. Just spent an hour searching the internet for any info and haven't come up with anything. Anybody ever heard of this kit?

Too freaking cool...looks like I did better on this deal than I first thought. The trike obviously needs lots of love, but I had a look in the exhaust port, the cylinder and piston are nearly flawless...fresh hone marks still on the bore, doesn't look like it's even broke in yet. Gotta get to bed right now (I wake up at 4 am), so I haven't even read thru that whole thread yet, but apparently I got the makings of a pretty badass Tri-Z.
Probably gonna have a hard time falling asleep...

Thanks for that lightning quick response dude.

Lol don't get your yamalube flowing yet. I'm just giving you some avenues to explore. Alothough the KH thing has me intrigued. Maybe call Klemm vintage and see what you can find out? It would be a pretty sweet find if it is real. Good luck and keep us posted.

Thats a stoock carb and exhaust, hard to beileve it would be a big bore. In any case probably not a stroker. Klemm Vintage would be a good start though. Never seen his mark as KH though. Easy answer, pull the head and tell us the bore size . Very intrigured to see what you come up with. I have a modern Klemm Big Bore 350 I am assembling right now. Would be cool to see a vintage one.

Sales pitch, it has a big bore and stroker...might just have a ported top end. I agree with new2 tri z

ID:	198933I have had my Zs since late eightys and Klemm had rebuilt motors in all of them in early 90s . they all still run strong.

if it were a Harry Klemm motor, it would likely have "Klemm Research" engraved into the cylinder. i doubt Harry had anything to do with that motor

I like your handle BTW... Motorious A.T.C.
