Top upgrades for a tri zinger
So i just pick up my first zinger. Just wondering what some of the mods people doing. It runs decent but only with the choke on, also doesn't seen like the clutch is is engaging properly. Im going to clean the carb and see if the clutch might be sticking. I love doing builds on everything and anything I can get my hands on just new to this. If anyone has any info or links to other builds would help. Thanks guys

Stockers should run great. I had one briefly this spring and it hauled

once I cleaned the carb, exhaust, and put a new stock air filter in the box. Mine was bone stock with oil injection and everything.
These are the only pictures I have right now. Should be some in the camera - these are before:

The stock exhaust is notorious for getting plugged up with carbon. If yours won't rev, that's a possibility.
Also, the kill switch has 3 positions off-run-start. If yours is stock (the rev limiter can be bypassed).
Off is obvious
Run is almost obvious but can't start
Start let's you start and has a rev limiter - below clutch engagement basically so jr. can't hurt him/her self
If you can find a donor, you can have a 2-speed automatic Tri Zinger... google it

I would personally upgrade those old tires with some new ones. Tires are the first thing I upgrade no matter what model ATC or 3 wheeler it is. Unfortunately they don't make 15x7.00-6 tires anymore so you will have to go with a 145/70-6 tire.
I suggest the 145/70-6 Shinko SR953 tire up front. Its a solid knobby design, identical to the ones on the suzuki ALT50 trail buddy. Steers well. For the rear, I would use the kenda scorpion 145/70-6. Another option you could consider would be some of those e-bay tires. I think they are made by Wanda or Journey?? They look like the dirt devil but in a 6" size.
Unfortunately I can't find any further aftermarket parts for the YT-60 model. No exhaust systems of air filters, but I did come across some aftermarket gaskets, brake pads and spark plugs.
That's my two cents here.
