    Sparks Performance 39mm FCR on a 350X

I recently found that Sparks Performance makes a 39mm FCR carb kit for a 400EX.Figured I would give a shot on my 350x.You will have to update your air filter set up to get full benefits of it.The kit isn't cheap but is high quality.Cost is $500 and you get a throttle cable supplied.Very nice transition from the connector tube into the carb.I used the 400ex connecter tube, with a little modification.Luckily I work in a fab shop and made up my own air box.Very happy with the performance of this set up.Just wasn't satisfied with the used FCR carbs I tried. That is just me and my ocd about stuff.Click image for larger version.

I also raised the tank mounts.A stock steel tank might clear.

Thank you for the compliments. There is no choke on this carb. The jetting is pretty close right out of the box.It starts very easy.On a cold start one or two kicks. Then it will sit there and idle.Only thing is maybe adjust the accelerator pump.Gives it a pretty good .The machine takes it well though.Doesn't bog down at all.I have another thread with more pics.

By the time I got around to getting the FCR on my X, the bike was nearly complete, and I didn't want to go cutting and welding the tank mounts higher for the clearance. So I sold it and got a 400ex carb. Very pleased with it, but, still wish I had gotten the FCR on there. Their performance is second to none!

Oh, how do you like those PRM nerfs?? I have a set on mine, and really like them.

What did that throttle cable come off of or was it part of a kit? I have a bw350 that I want to put a thumb throttle on and the stock bw carb is set up like that, I think it will work on the bw
