    Radiator shroud installation.

Just picked up a an almost cherry 1985 250R. The only minor cosmetic issue is the radiator shrouds have minor cracks. I just so happened to have some brand new OEM ones on hand. For some reason the right side does not line up. Did not even bother to check the left. If i force it i can get 3 of the 4 screws in. There is always one that does not line up, no matter which configuration i try.

    Anybody have any advise?

Don't force it. they will crack around the screw holes. Its a common problem. They are usually close enough to take a drill and add a little more clearance in them. Get them to fit the tank first, then move on to the hole that on the radiator bracket, these brackets get tweeked over time and may need to be tweeked back to line up right. DON"T over tighten the screws, they WILL crack the plastic.
