Seems to be a ground issue. Once it's warm I can hold the start button and then disconnect the neutral wire and away she goes. Starts real easy. So neutral wire/ground connected = no start at all and once it's disconnected it goes like stink and I can reconnect the neutral wire. Time to tear into the harness. Eliminate the hacks that are in there and slowly trickle down to the real issue. Note my facial expression of gloom. Might be easier to make a whole new one. That way I'll learn the whole system but involves tearing the whole bike down to damn near nothing. I don't mind that but I'm going to need more room to work for that to happen.
Right now I'm searching for a new job so I can move me and my mini horse (purebred king doberman) to a new place. Don't really have room to work here anyway. It runs with a kick so I'm happy for now. I just like everything to work proper. Heavily addicted to bells and whistles.
Here's a kick in the dangles for ya. I got accepted to regional college for a motorcycle mechanics course that would lead to an apprenticeship on the same day my room mate (his house) decided to move his fat @ss girlfriend in. Well threes a crowd so I had to decline the schoolin' so I could move. I'll never forgive him for skewering my future.
If I was still in my twentys I would autograph his face with my fist but at forty he's lucky I've gained some maturity.
