Angry Bought the wrong cylinder head for my 70

Man, I messed this one up. I had an old ATC70 that needed a lot of parts. Kasey helped me out with most of them (except that kill switch that I'm still waiting for), and I thought I was good to go. Finally got around to starting to put it together and found the head was cracked at the exhaust port. So, not wanting to spend a ton, I went on Ebay and bought what claimed to be an ATC70 compatible head from imotorpartsusa. Unfortunately, it sat for 3 months before I tried it out. So when I tightened the head bolts down today, the piston started hitting the head. Found the combustion chamber is too shallow. So I contacted the seller, but after 3 or 4 months, I'm guessing I'm gonna be stuck with it. Shame on me, but I was trying to get the thing running cheaply.

Does anybody make an aftermarket head that will just bolt on? I'd rather not buy anything used that needs work...

hey let me have a few days I am picking up a couple of 70's on Wednesday and I have one already that needs quite a bit of parts while the two new ones are complete, I will prolly part out the one that needs parts. The one I part out is sound except it needs all the plastics fuel tank seat, pull start, and carb so there is about 400$ worth of parts to make it a runner again, so once I get the other two I will let you know what the head looks like and we can figure out a price for you brandon
rectum nothin damn near killed them

Thanks Brandon! And I still have that seat which I was supposed to get you a shipping cost on, and forgot all about it!

I could probably help you out for not much more than shipping cost.
