84 big red 200es cam chain tensioner removal
Hello Im Merv and new to this site. I was wondering if anyone could help me out. I am doing new timing chain, guides and the tensioner arm/guide on a 1984 200es big red. But I am having trouble getting the tensioner out. Iv removed the top bolt and have the whole left side off motor but im not sure how I go about getting the collars/locks off of the bar of the tensioner so I can change the tension guide. I downloaded a manual awhile back but I cannot find it in manual chain is off and the rod moves up and down but I think I need the bar lock/collars out. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
