Hey guys!
I`ve got a real weird prob with my electrical system.... when i shut my engine with the kill switch off it seems like it needs a energy impulse...i mean when i turn the switch to run it shuts down and when i switch to off it runs... that means when its running and i cut the cable (and so the power for the kill switch) it keeps runing....is this normal? or is my baby just a bit strange?

i would say u need a new switch
1982 250r it will run again, new rings,razors,stator!!!(UGLY)

i dont think the switch is the problem.... i`l tested it and only when i give energy on the kill swich cable the engine turns off

the kill switch is a direct route to ground from the coil,,,when the switch is on it interupts the direct ground,,,,,,,,,,,,, there should be no power and unhooking will let it run so make sure you have a good ground on the switch side that goes to ground,,, and a good clean connection to the coil on the other side,,,,,,,,,
