cal-fab swingarm stickers being made

hello,

looking for advice on what kind of finish to apply to my cal-fab swingarm. it is partially polished right now. should i just polish the rest? do you think it is wrong to have such a rare part powder coated?

another thing is that the swingarm reads SIERRO USA on one side. it is hard to read because it is polished down. but i can still make it out. the swingarm looks just like the other cal-fabs that have been posted.

why does the cal-fab swingarm not have the extra bolt hole on the shifter side (left side when you are sitting on it)? what was that extra hole for? didnt the bearing carrier have two bolt holes on that side?

thanks for the help. looking for a headlight bracket that holds the headlight lamp. recently broke it. also would like a nice picture of the cal-fab decals, as i would like to have them reproduced.

I think Cal-Fab skipped on the extra bearing carrier hole on the left side. I've looked at allot of pics in old mags and it appears that way on all. As for finish, I would polish it and put the reprint decals on it. The only color I would paint is stock swingarm finish. The decals are definitely a must. If 200xbasket can't hook you up with a good picture I might can find a good picture in an old mag and scan it and you'll at least have the correct letter shape. Color should be pink for the KXTs. I've got a pic of one on a 250R where the decal is a patriotic red white and blue. Its cool too.

I'll look for some adds.

i will polish it. i think it would be wrong to coat it. it wouldnt be easy to remove the coating afterwards then.

Sportvette Im planning on polishing mine also. If you find a way we can get some repo-stickers I need some for my Cal-Fab also. Thanks man.

i know i am slow but i will get it. i want to make some sort of scale over it so it be be sized correclty. i am only working 84 hours this week so i may get to it.

Anyone else interested in these Cal-Fab Stickers for your swingarms? I am getting them reproduced. Dont know price or when they will be complete yet.

Could someone measure the exact size and post it?

calfab stickers should be available around april 4th. i am getting a set sent to me from harlan as soon as he finishes them.

he will be selling them once they are available. i hear he makes excellent stickers.
