    86 tri z

    I have been looking for a 86 tri z for a long time now. Is it easier to find a 86 bottom end and put it on a 85? The 86 is elusive.

    When it comes to TRI-Zs there is no easy button! I have had my 85,851/2, 86 since the early 90s.Click image for larger version.  Name: IMG_20140629_191937.jpg  Views: 41  Size: 2.29 MB  ID: 198901. and have bought every spare part I could find , ebay still has some parts . The 86 stuff is harder to locate.Unless you plan on drag racing , the 5 speed woks great! I know this was no help, just confirming that these things are elusive...lol

    I just bought a 85 z a few weeks ago and I'm looking forward to hearing it run. I need to start a build thread on it so you guys can chime in with the help I'm going to need.
