Honda ATC 185s idle problems?

Hey, so I recently got my first 3 wheeler (upgraded from my old minibike) and ive been loving riding it, but it has a problem. It will not idle at all. If I let off the throttle, it will die within 3 seconds. At the beginning it wasn't bad, but im nearly 2 months into owning it now and other problems have arose too.
1: I can hardly start it now
2: when it does start, I have to keep choke on the whole time
3: still dies in about 10 minutes or so

I suspect the idle and other issues are carb-related, but im not 100% sure. I know this from working on vintage mopeds which have similar parts and such, just on a smaller scale. Anyway, if anyone knows why my trike is doing this any help is appreciated. If someone can confirm that my carb being the problem prediction seems accurate, that would be nice too. Thanks!

Yep. Just do a good cleaning on the carb.

And if what they say doesn't work just get a carb rebuild kit. You'll notice a huge improvement with that
