Need rear tire recommendations got new wheels coming 250sx

For the front I followed the recommendations on the board and ordered a 23 7.00 10 Goodyear Tracker St 4 Ply tire and ITP Steel Wheel - 10x5 - 2+3 Offset - 4/110 - Silver , Bolt Pattern: 4/110, Rim Offset: 2+3, Wheel Rim Size: 10x5, Color: Silver, Position: Front 15R4.


I ordered these new wheels for the back of my 250 sx, but can't decide on the tires--OUGLAS BLACK LABEL ALUMILITE ATV RIMS WHEELS 9X9 4/110 3+6 Offset PAIR 006-39

I was thinking Kenda K530 Pathfinder Tire - Rear - 22x11x9 for the rear, I want a smooth ride, something that can drift a little for trails. I was looking at the bear claws, same size but would they ride rough?

What is the factory tire PLY?

I ordered the stuff above before really checking out my front tire size, its a knobby so I figured out it was stock. But on close inspection, its a 22 11 9 on an aluminum wheel? What could this be from? It looks good and centered. The rears are 22 11 8 on steel wheels.

ITP Mud Lite's are a good choice for the rear tires. I have both these and Bear Claws on my SX's and the Mud Lite's are much "lighter" (pun intended).

If your front rim is aluminum, it's definitely not original to the SX.
