    frame question

    will a 1985 cr 500 motor fit on a 1989 cr 500 frame...if anyone knows please let me know...

    89 was the year the 250CC got the upside down forks but the 500 may have remained the same.

    Those 500CC's saw alot of years unchanged from the mid 80's to the 90's. Just a little cosmetics was all Honda gave them.
