    Do you have a Favorite?

So because im board and I am curious to see the responses. What is your favorite trike and why? Mine is the 85-87 250es Big Red because when i was young i saw it for the first time covered in dust in a barn and thought to my self this is just awesome. It was love at first site and to think 20years later I finally have one to call my own.

Honestly in my opinion the 85-86 250r's and 350x's are the best trikes I've ever rode, while many others are great in their own right. The 250r&350x are the nastiest ATC to just hop on and go from stock.

Gotta give some love for the 83-85 200x.... Power to weight is great, the bike is nimble and light, and will compliment a wide range of riding styles.

While not the powerhouse the 2 strokes are, it can be built to throw down serious power, and the swapability of parts and even engines from late model bikes is a huge benefit. There are several engine swaps that will nearly bolt in, including engines that are up to 30cc larger, and even bigger.

From a fabricators standpoint, the round tube frame is easy to work with, and the bike can be easily built for flat track, trail use, motocross, and even the street....

My favorite would be the Liquid cooled 250R. (85+) They are super fast, have lots of power, have a crazy amount of suspension travel, and of course TONS of modern aftermarket support.

85 250R. We had one along with a 350X when they were new. It was the best dune toy then. It's the best now. I guess I should say 85 & 86 but I only have 1st hand experience with the 85.

I'm a BIG boy so the 200Xs I had recently were only adequate in the dunes. Great trail bikes - maybe better than the R - but underpowered for me in the dunes.

I do have a soft spot for an 82 185s. It was the first new motor vehicle of any type I ever bought and I rode it hard and it always came back for more. Before I sold it, it had full suspension (weld on no-name, they were prolific 84) and the loudest pipe ever (Bill's). It was also totally outclassed by the 1st gen 200X. I replaced it with an 82 250R that had a 300 kit, +12 swinger, Bassani pipe, etc.

Might be nice to have one around.

But, like I said in the other thread - if I can only have one, it would be the 85R.

Of course I highly enjoy my 200x and 350x, but I have a quite the fondness for my little klt 110. It was given to me for free with a honda 110 gas tank half full of leaves and water, rough plastic, and poor tires. I think I have $50 in it and it runs like a champ. There is just something about giving it a pull, listening to that exhaust leak and pathetic excuse of a muffler on the back pop away, hoping on, shifting through all five gears before I'm out the driveway, all whilst it fogs nice rich and oil burning smoke. I'll be rebuilding the top end this winter.

I'll let you know after I ride them all.

But my favorite is my dads 200s. It's been his since new and I've grown up riding it and ride it to this day.
