ATC 70: anyone attempt this? hydraulic cable pull for rear brake?

ive been doing alot of reading on atc 70's and the common bent frame from little kids slamming into stuff as they physically cant pull the factory rear brake handle. i got to thinking, they make numerous different types of hydraulic to cable pull systems. basically like a front disc brake master cylinder, only it converts to pulling a cable instead of applying pressure to a caliper. i figure this would have to be a lot easier for a lil tyke to pull. any thoughts, opinions? or has anyone attempted to do this type of mod/conversion before??

heres a link to what im talking about and looking at.

Interesting thought. Not sure how much it would lessen the pull, depends on the surface area of the piston I guess? I also think it's just not the weak hands not being able to pull in the handle, it could be small hands not being able to effectively grab the handle bar and lever at the same time. The rear brake conversion from Spanglers (approx $150) would help out with stopping the little beasts too; and it costs about the same.

ive seen people use these on cable to hydraulic clutch conversions. they can pull the clutch in with their little finger, so it greatly reduces the amount of effort to pull

i was looking into the foot brake conversion, until you read what all is needed.
149 for just the foot brake conversion

then they say you have to buy there foot pegs, new shifter, and new exhaust header
    so it gets expensive quick
    foot brake conversion: $149
    foot pegs: $80
    shifter: $59
    exhaust header: $119
    total: $409

thats stupid expensive for a foot brake. thats why im looking into a $150 cable/hydraulic puller. alot cheaper

I didn't read into the foot brake conversion too deep, that will add up. I'd say go for the hydraulic set up. Sounds like a novel idea.
