Started some disassemby and some painting some parts, etc. Cleaned up the frame a little. Straightened the rear rack mount and then welded the bend for strength. Welded the standoff as well as creating one using a nut with the same bolt thread size and pitch.

Got the total hookup from Paul of San Diego. Glad to have a local ATC guy here. Got a Tank/Cap/Petcock, Rear Fender, Cooler Rack, Carb Choke Assembly and misc nuts n bolts for a killer deal.

As soon as I got home, I mounted up the tank (looks normal now) and painted the weld areas with some Rustoleum Sunrise Red Rattle Can Paint.

Rebuilt the Carb after work and installed the new Choke assembly. Man removing the broken Choke Assembly was a pain. Carb soaked in Berrymans for a couple days, love that stuff. Anyways, Air Filter Box reinstalled as well as Rebuilt Carb.

Pic is a 155 Main Jet that was in the old and the new one that was in the kit is 150, which is the one I installed.

Also, ordered some Red ODI Mushroom Grips (love em from back in my BMX days) and a Uni Filter.

I would advise you to keep the 155. It was likely installed by the previous owner who rode in sand. Your motor only has the fuel it burns and the air traveling over it to cool it. Sand will rob power, overheat, and melt down an air cooled 2 stroke motor in minutes if not jetted properly. Yes, 150 was the stock size, and you dont have any 'high flow' mods that would require a larger main, but for the dunes, fat is safe, and safe gets your bike through the entire weekend. youre not gonna win any drag races up test hill with that thing, so just getting it to live is your main goal. It will probably run just fine with the 150 at Corral Canyon or Pine Valley, but take it to Gordon's or Superstition and it will run hot. Jet for the long haul. Improper jetting gets expensive, real fast.

Bought new taillight bulbs (part # 34902-259-000) and spark plugs (NGK B8ES)

Painted the Exhaust Pipe and Silencer with flat black header paint. Reveived the Odyssey Exhaust sealing metal ring and gasket, will chime back on fitment.

Exhaust reinstalled. The Odyssey metal Ring and Gasket were too large. Weird that my 79 Odyssey had a larger exhaust and motor is the same one. Anyways, my metal ring on the ATC was fine, so I cut down the paper ring (looked almost like cardboard) and installed it. Hooked up my Tank and put some 32:1 gas in and fired it up. Put the old Fender/Seat on and drove around my yard again. Can't wait to get this all together and on the local trails.

Removed the rust off the Cooler Rack and polished it up and hit it with some Clear Coat. Polished up the Shock and Canister and also put clear on it. Removed as much rust off the Seat Pan and put some black paint to keep the rust in control. Going to install the new Seat Cover at some point over this weekend.

Thanks Man, but I did already. I always use my K&N oil on my toys. Got that covered. Thanks for the compliment. Working on the seat foam now, hope to get it on the trike tomorrow.

Fixed my Seat Foam, installed the new seat cover and installed the Rear Fender. Installed the Skid Plate and gave another test ride in the backyard. This toy is so much fun.
