I have a 1987 big red that im fixing up and want to know what peoole think of Maier replacement fenders ! Is is better to keep cracked and sun faded ome plastic or go fresh with maier parts?

They are not the same red as honda but will make your bike look ten times better. Ps you should probably buy the Maier trunk lid and side covers so all of your plastics match.

I was contemplating going with Maiers on my 250, only problem is how off will it be when I paint my gas tank oem red with their fender colours then? Sorry to thread jack, topic just came up

Like I said it is different red what I would do is wait for the fenders to come in and match the red that's on the fender.

Getting a current eye match done at an auto paint store is always best. Sometimes factory plastic has faded so even oem paint may look off colour, if not tinted to match.
Forget the whales.. Save the 2-Stroke!
