    Color of seats

    Why do some Honda big reds have gray seats, and others have black?

    just depends on the year the 85 and 86 had black seats and the 87 88 had grey seats. it really no big deal except if you find an 88 big red now that's a super rare bike.

    85 250es Big Red has a black seat, 86 and 87 the seat was grey. 87 was the last model year for the Big Red. Not sure why they changed the seat color.

    Sleeplessknight there was an 88 big red they just weren't realased in the US.
