1984 200es big red shifting issues.

My 1984 200es big red wont shift into neutral... it just picked it up the past owner said he never had an issue with it shifting. I am really baffled by this. I tried moving the shifter up incase it was hitting on the foot peg but still no dice. Any help would be much appreciated! thanks.

Did you try to adjust the clutch?

Neutral is all the way up on mine.
