86 350x bottom end in a 85 bike

can the 86 350x bottom end be used in a 85 bike I know there some differences , any info we be appreciated

yes, but you will need to reroute or replace the clutch cable .

The clutch cable is routed differently. It comes in from the left side of the motor on the 86 bottom end (runs behind the cylinder to the right side cover). Just route your clutch cable the right way and you'll be ok.
