Don't do it. At 6'3" 195, you'll hate yourself for trading a tri-z for a 125. I'm 5'7" 145 and have had my fun with 125's and moved on. You are way too big for a cr 125. Another thing--the '98 cr was the first year that honda used aluminum frames. They had not yet worked out the handling quirks. If you must get a dirtbike, it needs to be a 250 mx or something like a kdx or exc trailbike.

I wouldnt trade...A tri-z would be a lot better then a cr 125 for someone your size.

I've rode 125's for a long time until I reached the weight of 175 or there abouts, definitly could tell the difference when the weight gets to that point. Even though you can set the suspension up for the weight (heavier spring & revalving) you can't do too much about the lack of ponies. You can port the bike and do all the cool hop up mod to it, but then the reliability factor comes into play(not to mention the expence). I now weigh 210 and ride a CR250, plenty of power for me, just not as much fun as those light, nimble 125's. Stick with the TRI Z.
    Damn I think I've talked myself into going on a diet :? :? :? :?

I would have to agree with smokinp. Plus the Z's are alot more rare. You can find a cr 125 around ever corner.

Doesnt matter anyways,as you are parting your Tri-Z.
