Or will any other hub match with the 85 axle splines. My left hub is bent up pretty bad because of what I had to do to get it off of the axle.

No,will not fit,85 is a model,86-7 is another one. You need the 85 model,no other will fit

Correct me if I am wrong but won't an 85 250 sx hub also fit as well. other than the ring gear I believe the es and sx 85 's had very similar rear end

yes the sx 85 hub is the same, but not the 86-7
gearbox housing and hub are the only common part between 2 model,all other part are differents

All correct,and also, the TRX won't work on 85. 86 - up only.

What about the right side hub put on the left side? Would that work? I can find some right side hubs but the few left hubs are pricey. But I do need one.

What about the bearings are the same. I just ordered some for the 85 diff and axle tubes. If the parts bike isn't an 85 would the bearing that I ordered work or do I need to cancel the order?
