    Slow Jet ?

I have a 84 200 es and a 83 200e for parts. Just got my new ride running and it seems to idle funny. I believe the slow jet is plugged cant see through it or stick a fine wire through it. Im pretty sure you should be able to but the slow jet on my spare carb is the same. Should be able to blow through it shouldn't ya?

yes what you should do is try a thin stiff piece of wire like a strand of 5/16 cable from any hardware store. Soak it in a bowl of carb clean for about 20 min unless you have a can of carb dip. Then try to poke the wire through with a twisting motion. Once through slide the jet a few times up and down the wire, then pull the wire out and shoot carb cleaner through it. Run the wire through it again and repeat these processes a few times. If you have carb dip it eats away the corrosion much quicker. you just need to rinse everything in distilled water to get rid of the dip. Make sure after you feel you are done you blow compressed air through it just for good measure.

Great thanks. Gonna do it today. I am a sled guy and haven't played with three wheelers for a long time. Thanks again.

Get a pail of Berryman Chem-dip and let the jet sit in that for a few hours. Guaranteed clean.
