85 ATC250R front tire replacement

I am looking to replace my front tire with an STI Tech 4 XC ATV Tire 22x7-11. I have been running a Kenda Front Max 23.5 and it is time for a replacement. Has anybody used a 22 inch tire on the front of their 250R? Did the 1 inch smaller tire make a difference? Thanks for any replies.

i run a custom Xowner 10in front wheel with 21X7X10 OHTSU M/R 101 tire. LOVE IT. brings the front end down more than just replacing the tire and the 10in wheel allows for 1000's of tire options... plus it looks bitchin.

I have that tire on a 10" rim. I really like it.

im running that front tire on the stock size rim on my 350x... i only run it in the winter on the ice with 300 screws and like it... i bought it mainly because of the tread pattern, but from what Ive heard the motocross guys really like the way it handles...
