Similarities between 1986 ATC 250r and TRX 250r?

I'm just wondering what major parts are interchangeable between these two ATVs. Also, what of those parts are also interchangeable on the ATC 250r?

Can I put an ATC250r pipe and silencer on a TRX?

I'm asking because it seems like I can find an '86 trx for much cheaper than an ATC 250r, which might be better for me right now. But, I'd like to be able to use it as a parts machine later on, when I can afford an ATC 250r. I'd also like to be able to buy add-ons for the TRX, like a pipe and silencer that I can switch to an ATC.

Engine will swap,swingarm parts if I'm correctmaxle,caliper......

All exhaust part are different.

The silencer is very similar and can be fitted easily
The front pipe will not fit

Im running a trx engine, so I know it works. I think some of the trx rear end stuff will fit the '86 atc but not the '85.
