    Ltz 400

I'm willing to buy a Ltz soon, but I'm not sure about the power output. Any bike you could compare the z400 power to? Thanks!

A stock DRZ400 puts out 38-40 rwhp on a dyno. I would assume the Ltz is very close to those numbers. I just rode an ltz this weekend and was surprised by the power. Not bad, for a Suzuki. I may purchase the one I rode just to flip it for a profit.

They are pretty nice. We have a 2013 Z400, but it's a puppy compared to my 2014 TRX450R though. Fuel injection is very nice
on the Z400 wish the Honda had it.

Comparable to 400ex in terms of power. Nicer quad though as all years have reverse and liquid cooling with twin cams

I have had one for about 7 years now. It used to be my weekend rider till I bought the LTR 450. I am not a huge suzuki fan (just found some scremanin deals), but my bikes have been super reliable and great runners. The 400 has plenty of power to have fun with and get you wherever you need to go. The reverse is awesome too. Now I will say that its not even close powerwise to my 450. The 450 is a whole different beast with tons of torque and HP. The 450 is almost too much sometimes on the tight trails. The 400 is just as fast in the tight trails and is a little more user friendly in the torque range, plus it you get a little more ground clearance. The 450 is low and wide. My wife rides it quite a bit these days, but I still enjoy jumping on the 400 and drifitng down the trails. Its a great bike with tons of power mods available (if you need to). The only issue I have ever had is carb cleaning and standard maintenance. I say if you are looking for a all around good sport quad (not a race or mx machine) then its probably one of the best bikes out there.

Exactly the same with the TRX450R to much on tight trails.

So I won't go wrong with this quad? Because I'm also considering a Predator 500 but I'm not sure because of his weight.

There's two kinds of Polaris quads: The ones that have blown up, and the ones that are about to blow up. Razors, rangers, they're all junk. Its no coincidence that Polaris offers crate engines for their newest models.

Ok, so you spent ten grand on a razor and you don't like my opinion. Just wait, it'll blow up.

For what it's worth, I think the Predators were in the low 30s for hp. I raced a couple different Predators back in the day with the YZ125 I used to have and hung right with them. All in all, the Z400 seems to have better fit-and-finish.

Who made a 4 stroke racing motor to change the entire game? It wasnt Polaris. The Suzuki 400 motor changed everything just like the LT250R did, then things just went up in power and chassis design from there.

I rode a decommissioned Z400 racer with a full suspension upgrade package in the Nevada dessert and it as a lot of fun.
I wouldnt personally buy a polaris, never seen one I was impressed with. Now a KTM quad would e nice.

The 500 Predator is a 525 KTM motor. But is still a Polaris and like everyone said the Z400 will be the best bet.

Dont think the Predators had KTM motors. The Outlaw by polaris is KTM powered motor.

I finally bought a ltz and I like it, it has all the power I need ( I moved from a 200x to a ltz, (don't worry, I still have my 200x and I still enjoy riding her)). It has a new head, wiseco piston, full pro-circuit titanium pipe and some other goodies so I think I will love it for a long time. What I enjoy the most is the suspension and the lightweight ( for a quad). Thanks for all the advices guys!
