When I bought my 87 Big Red, thought I crossed the Big Red off my wish list. Thanks to nic0708, my 87 is now a utility vehicle instead of a collector's item.

It has a 9000 bid with one hour left, let's see how high it goes. Mike is def not out of touch,lol.. Here are a few that sold on ebay, 1986 125M "rode only around the yard once or twice like new" sold for 13,600 and the 1987 250SX "brand new never had gas in it"sold for 12,100. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1986-Honda-A...870811&pt=ATVs http://www.ebay.com/itm/Brand-NEW-19...206580&pt=ATVs

Well looks like somebody got a deal! Wonder who it was.....

Rode once, never had gas in it, 2 completely different sets of circumstances for those bikes. And in my opinion the 125m was overpaid for. The SX, now there's a bike that's worth over ten thousand.

Nobody on this page even suggested that Mike was out of touch.

This ain't my first rodeo kids. It didn't hit 10k because it isn't worth it. In my opinion somebody paid an extra 3 grand or so for the peace of mind that it came from the "gilded circle" of collectors.

That's all I have to say about that, back to being out of touch.

    Hi,
My 88 needs a bit of work here and there, I have NOS fenders with the correct over fenders, heel guards and the correct NOS heavy duty ohtsu's that most of the 88's came fitted with. All other parts that were specific to the 88 are present and in very good condition (horn, light grey dash pad, seat etc) I found it in the southern tip of Italy so there is no corrosion on the bike at all. It will be treated to a nut and bolt resto at some point but it is about 5th in line right now.
I also have an 86 BR but it's showing its age compared to the 87 for sale and has a covered a grand total of 209 miles!image.jpg
