    Mickey Dunlap / Powroll 200x

While I was in Washington state last week a guy named Rob Gweader came to the house and said he bought one of my 200x's and had a pic of him racing it. He said he had to sell it so if someone on here knows of this missing link let me know.

I just got off the phone with Pete Fisher from Powroll after a 2.5 hour call and we both agree there were 4 Powroll 200x's built there and then my Honda built 200x which Rob wants to buy real bad, but there is the bike that he had which I'm calling the "missing link" because we know where the rest are, well kind of. lol

I saw apic the other day of a proto type machine the other day.The one with XR motor possibly?Had the dual exhaust head on it.Was a red, white and blue color scheme. If I ever free up some space, going to build a 200x.Would be nice to start with a old race bike.Mickey you should do a write up on the old 200x race bikes.Really amazing what they achieved on the track.

I have plans to do something in Dirt Wheel with my 200x, then sell it. I'll have a bunch of pics on here too, it's my next project to finish in the next month or so in case I have to go back to Washington when my brother dies, so I may drive out there to sell the Team Honda one.

So sorry to hear about your brother, Mickey! BTW, I still have the kidney belt you gave me waaaaay back in 1985, when we met at Lebanon Valley Speedway East Coast Nationals. After winning my heat, while waiting to go out for the features, you told me I was plenty fast but needed better looking riding gear! haha Thanks! I was on the stock 350x. Wingnut's the name you would remember

I don't know if it's just me but after last week in Washington I think my brain has been over loaded because I don't remember much of anything I did 30 years ago. This site remembers more about what I did then I ever will! lol.

I thought about this and re-read it and the whole thing about you need better riding gear just doesn't sound like something I would have said, but if I did or if it sounded as bad as it does to me now I'm sorry I came across that way.

Hey Mickey, I raced a mostly stock 200x on a TT track back in September for the first time. What are some good setup and mods for tt on a 200x.I have raced my 250rs and I have used some of the same setups on both.I ran some nearly bald 20 inch shredder tires.Would 16 inch be a good size to run on the rear. Thanks DP.

Very cool picture, Mickey. A couple of the guys have ct's that they still race out at the small track.

The 16's were the hottest setup, but good luck finding some good ones.
