egged out swing arm pivot holes (resto-mod build)

I know theres been some discussion on this. I've searched seen some people say take it to professional welder and some say look for a new frame. Wanted to know from those of you that fixed it your self and how has it held up. I ride it pretty hard but mainly will be at the dunes now. I don't want to find a new frame ethier
It was given to me by my dad when I was 11 years old in prestine stock condition. And I got the original title from 1985. He got it from his Buddy a year or 2 after he (his buddy) purchased it from Honda new. And my dad was with him everytime he rode it. I have rode this thing into the ground....over and over....now I'm looking to do a full resto-mod. Make it look all original lookibg except for the 310 ct motor I had in it and pipe and silencer. Any help and advice will be appreciated. Thx

More pics, yea I know its ruff. I'm hoping to revive the tank with a wet sanding. And find some stock looking plastics and seat. Yes that's electrical tape for the seat cover now.....I know I know what can I say I was young and dum. I kinda doing this to surprise my dad. He knows I'm fixing it up. Doesn't know what my plan is.
