New to the board
Picked up a ody for $50 with no engine and a 200m with rotted frame for $200. The project is to make the ody into a 4 stroke. I would put a bigger engine in, but until I find a cheap one... Anyone ever shoe horn a 4 stroke in one of these? It seems the snowmobile engine is the most common conversion. So far I have the engine in and making mounting brackets. Then I have to make a transfer axle to mate the drivetrains. Ill post some pics when i make more progress.

Teaching quads a lesson
Sounds like a doable swap. Might be a bit under powered but who cares as long as it runs and stops. Rigging up a shifter will be easy too as long as you have access to a welder.

New to the board
As long as it has enough power to "get a lil bit sideways"(country song) thats all that counts. I also like the idea of shifting gears. Recently pickup an everlast tig welder so this will be my franky to learn on.
