The way I look at it is Honda at that point was in so much heat with trikes that they knew what was going to happen (if it didnt already by then) that if they advertised those death traps it would be bad publicity.

If I remember correctly there was a thread about the Honda museum in Japan and there was only 3 trikes in the entire thing. And everyone asked why. Some good points were brought up, its worth the read if you can find it. I think it was a atc70, a zinger, and a alt50.

I agree...plus I wonder if this was December of '86 or December of 85? If it was Dec '86...the nail in the coffin was already in place.
