    250sx Reverse Override?

    Hey All

    I am having trouble with my reverse cable and am wondering if anyone has "overriden" the safety on the reverse? I am using a set of Motosport Shorty brake levers and cannot figure out how to use reverse...any help or suggestions?

    Buy an aftermarket choke cable with the same connection and use it to engage the reverse

    By safety, you mean the push down button to engage the lever for reverse? or the rev limiter relay?
    Not sure what's not working.
    How about a separate little lever somewhere else on the bars for the reverse cable?
    or back to oem?
