I have a 84 tecate and was wondering if anyone knows any air filters that will mount right up to the throat of the carburetor?

One decent option are the red the dual filters in the link below. I would not use either of the top 2 that are listed. Some have a 15 degree angle on them also which may give more clearance if you need it. Most shops can order them.

On another note do you guys know if they make nerf bars for that trike?

nerf bars are some what universal but I doubt you will find any made for that trike.
