    ATC70 supertrapp question

So I've had this pipe on my ATC70 for years, but its had trimmed fenders. Now that I'm rebuilding it for my daughter, I've put a new set of fenders on and now don't know how this pipe will work. I want to modify it if I have to before I paint it. Do you think this thing being under the fender will cause issues?

could always add tin tape to the bottom side of the plastics to prevent as much heat transfer

I think I'll start with that. I just don't remember how the exhaust funnels out of that thing and if it would just melt down the new plastics. To make it stick out, I'd have to extend it way out, and then it might look lame.

Or is there any way to make a heat sheild out of some aluminum that you could mount onto the grab bar mounts

I agree with samjp22, stick some tin tape or if you can find the heat shield tape on many oem plastics that would work great.
