well finished with the final tweaking and got the bike ready to take to the exhaust specialist to modify the pro-circuit pipe to fit the ATV frame.
once he is done with it, I just need to do 1 last weld to add a nut to bolt the nerfs on the front too (each side). after that, it gets sent to the sanders then painted.
    Here is where it sits.

LOL yea that's true. these MX races are fast and intense. They are literally a 20 min sprint race. going balls to the wall none stop, so I know the cooler I keep that motor the faster and more stable it runs.
we have some sponsors for coolant including engine-ice so we will be using their coolant for it. Evans is great, but with I get my stuff 1/2 the price due to sponsor discounts, cannot top that, + 1 gallon will last me for a season. haha that bike takes so little it is humorous. I may end up a at a later time putting shut off valves on each rad hose to turn off flow for engine removal and install just because there is so little fluid in the motor but tons in the rad. This will keep cut down on mess and speed up engine replacement if needed at the track side.
next week I start tearing into the "mock" motor.

everythign is torn back down and sent to powder coaters. Kawi bright green is the color we are doing. new nerfs, grab abd bumper as well as frame and a-arms are being done. total $450. very good deal considerign the work on the frame needing to clean it up and the arms are coated black and need to be sand blasted before re-coating. so now too bad. Oh and theya re doign the beed locks too so everything will match up.

ordered the new custom Boyesen rad setup with custom reeds, ordered the new fox rear shock custom spring setup.
I jsut got back the front shocks. We are using re-valve and re-spring YFZ450r front shocks. they were rebuilt and ready to go. they are much beefier than any others and will last longer, they also have every adjustability there is like all the others. so ne need to spend $2200 on fronts as these will do the same job the same way for $400 the set.

I am going to start cleaning up all the bearings and getting things ready for assembly. next week I will be rushing to re-assembly the bike for final pipe fitment. it will be it's final assembly.

    Tanks!
Well it was christmas time this weekend!!!!!!!!
I got the Flex bars in, boysen rad valve and spare reed set, new free standing shop size Blasting cabinet (yep now i can clena my own stuffs!!!), new 1/8" Alloy skid plate, new rear SS brake line, 2 new Kien 28MM(28.5mm to be exact) carbs, new ODI "locker" grips (black and green ordered with custom #155 A.Wichter on them).

I also torn down the spare motor and started bearing repalcement. I will have to get a shop to help remove 1 specific bearing that I cannot seem to pull out. Honestly the stocker is in great shape am I really could just leave it but I am being a panzy about it cause I wante everything new. So I will see if I continue assembly or get it replaced. His new motor will be there this week the new Sonpsor build 96CC setup and new 96cc top end fo rthe spare I am building. I'll take photos if the motor appart and parts I am using so ya'll can see the details we ho through. One cool think I discovered about Yamaha motors, They do nto sue a center case gasket, they only use sealer. That made it 1000000Xs easier to split the cases and it all come appart easily. Honda, Kawi and most others have a gasket, that causes the cases to stick when trying to split the cases and tons ofo cleanup. I cleaned the case halves in 10 min with how soapy water and plastic scrubber sinc ethere were no gaskets. Loved it!!!!!! Was the easiest rebuild I have ever done yet!
Oh I forgot to mention for the spare, I have a new SS bolt repalcment kit that uses allen heads instead of the dumb philip head screw/bolts yami used in stock. I hate them dam philip. they ALWAYS strip even with a impact driver.

Anyway, I'll take some photos and show my progress. I am goign to start updating my mikesatvfix.com site to show this build and the progress.

well things are comming together nicely. got everythign back from PC shop and started assembly. motor mounted, steering, harness, levers, cables etx. tonight i finally got the front repalcement a-arm bearing sets in so i will be repalcing those and installing the entire front end of the ATV tonight. LSR goofed and forgot tot hsip the swinger last week so it is in the mail today and I will have it by Friday. I will install the stocker for now as a mockup setup and later switch it out for the LSR one.(easy to do, plus give sme 2 different setups for different tracks and such)

Thanks. Still got a bunch of touchups to do. Have close to 4k in parts in this thing. But ones similar that guys have shops build have spent 15-17k so I think I made out ok.

The clutch cover will also be white once I get back and install the lost ball that sits between the shift rod and shift push end. Then I have to bleed the brakes, install hoses for cooling and all fluids. Finally a chain and some other minor things. About 5-7 hours of detailed work and it is track ready.

    2012 Raptor 125 built into a 96CC 2-stroke

That is a sprocket protector. Tryin to decide if I want to keep the rear skid or not. I have a rear sprocket protector and he hardly ever uses the rear break so mot sure I need the skid.
I probably will for now. But not sure if it will stay.

Yeah I saw the sprocket protector, which looks like a brake disc. I guess the sprocket is reflecting off of the shiney protector, giving the illusion of 2 sprockets.

Yes, I agree, nice job on the build.
