    honda atc 110 cdi conversion

    i have a 1980 atc 110...i want info about cdi conversion...it is possible? I think so but need more info about this conversion.like if i juste have to swap the electrical and cdi component...if it will work whit the magneto or other component in the engine base...dont know enouf mechanical to open the base....thank

    I found the info on other treads...not a good idea...crankshaft not same and points are 6 volt and cdi 12 volt.

    a cdi conversion gets rid of the points, so itll all be 12 volt

    Its more easy to find a complete cdi motor...than made the conversion

    gets rid of = you remove from. meaning you will remove the factory points from the engine, to install the cdi parts.
