    480r

I need to replace the carb on my 480. The engine is stock except I have a motoplat that will go in it. It's used for trail an d MX. What size flat side should I use. Any one run one of these? BTW It's for my ATC not my dirt bike.
    3 CR500R's and counting. Do I really need 4???
Do I really need 9 Tigers?
    Laegers ATC500R
DO NOT send any thing to whats his face (dirt-face/crasher) here on the board. What a scum bag. He screwed (stole) money from me and screwed me on my ME360 and Hondaline 300R engine rebuilds.

Hard to go wrong with a 38mm.. You could go bigger, but I doubt you would notice much difference on a 480. 480 favors low-mid power with its large case volume, shallow long pipe, small reed box, etc. I like keihin pwk's if buying new, but if going the used route I would opt for a 38 PJ from a cr250, or cr500. The pjs slide seems to hold up better that pwk's from what I've seen buying used. Most carbs when swapped to a 480 will have the air and idle stop screw on the wrong side. Not a deal breaker, but something to think about if access is limited.

cr480r is correct in fact dead on.
    38mm PJ from a CR250 OR CR500 is a GREAT carb!
    Maybe check Ebay?
