stock cam right now... unless i can find an xr200 cam?

or.. you have another idea?? :-)

I already got a 30mm carb/intake going on this motor and i dont mind running some sort of VP fuel if i had to because of psi and/or timing ..

You can run pump gas with the piston I cut down to 11.5:1. If you are not going a cam you don't need valve spring, and my rule of thumb is if the cam you pick (xr200) doesn't need springs it isn't worth putting in. The cam is where all the HP is, the HC piston is only going to give you a little more torque.

If anyone is in Minnesota around the twin cities Dana's Auto Machine Services in Shakopee did mine. He had it back to me in a few hours and its cost 40 bucks.

ok, i think you convinced me.

lets leave the head as-is and i'll try and find an xr200 cam to put in there.

these mods should be enough to give all my friends' 200x's a good beating (2 of which were once mine and all motors are bone stock).

i'll gear it down a touch too for a little more snap off the bottom end. yeah.. i think thatll work.
