    185s,200s,200m fork boots...

    hey guys!

im almost finish with my little overhaulin on my 1983 185s. also have a 1984 200m in pretty good shape but both have cracked fork boots..

-my honda dealer can't get them

-on ebay only big red and 350x, 250r are available

    -dennis kirk doesn't sell em

    -partzilla = discontinued

    -dratv = discontinued

what are the other option.? i check for the xl185s one but they are way too long.

i took the measurement of the fork

    upper - 30mm

    lower - 48 to 50mm

i can't be the only one that need new fork boots? any tips on universal one that fits right on?

    thanks guys!

Many universal ones don't fit good or look good at all unfortunately. You could keep an eye out on eBay.

These perhaps? The picture looks close but it's hard to say until you get them. I would wait for some NOS ones to come up eBay if your patient enough.

    Good luck

I don't know that I'd order from this guy. Checked his ebay negative feedback and lots of "wrong part, doesn't fit" complaints on his parts. Take a peek:

I have heard that some of the gaiters for 4 x 4 suspensions will work . Take your dimensions to NAPA, O'Reilly's, Pep Boys, etc, and see if they can hook you up.

ETA: Just saw that you already ordered. (RIF, I guess :P) let us know how it goes.

These from Dratv http://dratv.com/rfoboforat.html should be fine I have 200es shock boots on my 200m they fit and look great the only thing I had to do was put some electrical tape where the top of the boot goes because the 200es boots are a little bigger at the top. These are honda boots as well so they should last a long time .
